Chronorift Chronicles

The Universe is breaking. He was never meant to save it.

A cinematic science fiction saga where artificial intelligence, fractured time,

and human destiny collide.

The first fracture has already begun. When Max is pulled into a mission far beyond anything he understands, he finds himself at the center of a growing crisis—one where artificial intelligence is evolving, time itself is beginning to unravel, and an ancient force is quietly awakening beyond the edges of reality. As he assembles a crew of warriors, rebels, and survivors, Max must navigate betrayal, shifting alliances, and a mystery tied directly to his own existence. Because the deeper he goes, the clearer one truth becomes: this isn’t just a battle for survival… it’s the beginning of something much larger than anyone is prepared for.

Chronorift Chronicles Characters

The characters of ChronoRift Chronicles are the heart of this universe—each one shaped by conflict, choice, and the unknown forces moving through the stars. As the series expands across all thirteen books, these characters will evolve, change, and sometimes fall, while new allies, rivals, and unexpected figures emerge to shape the journey. This is not a static world—it’s a living story, and every character has a role in what comes next.

As part of that journey, I invite readers to become part of the creation process. For each new book, I will be selecting 3–5 new characters inspired by fan ideas and submissions. If you have a concept, a personality, or even a fully imagined character, you can share it—and if it fits the story, it may be brought to life within the series. For those who want to go even further, there is also an opportunity to become a character yourself. We can collaborate on a role that fits the world, and your likeness can be incorporated into the story—just as was done with the character Tyra.

The 2nd Book I'll be on the lookout for any suggestions. For anything related to the first book and everything else about the chronorift Chronicles series can be sent to me at ChronoriftChronicles@yahoo.com

The second book, The Gemini Ascendant, is in progress.

In the aftermath of Adkar-1, Max and his crew are left shaken—fractured by loss and the weight of what lies ahead. Before they can continue their journey, they must regroup, rebuild their strength, and prepare for a force they do not fully understand—one they cannot see, cannot predict, and cannot ignore. What hunts them now is not just an enemy, but a presence—patient, relentless, and already closing in. As the universe itself begins to fracture at an accelerating pace, time is no longer a luxury—it is a threat. The question is no longer whether they will face what’s coming… but whether they are strong enough to face it alone.

Drawn deeper into the mysteries of the Zodiac fragments, their next path leads them to the Gemini Artifact—the symbol of love, connection, and unity across the universe. But in a galaxy where memory fractures and truth bends, love is not as simple as it seems.

What begins as a search for something pure quickly unravels into a journey filled with deception, shifting realities, and trials that test not only strength—but trust. Allies questioned one another. Loyalties blur. And the deeper they go, the more the crew begins to realize that the Gemini Artifact does not reveal love… it exposes it—stripping away illusion to uncover what truly lies beneath.

As dangers mount and the path grows more uncertain, a darker race unfolds. Slimy the Wordless moves in the shadows, closer than anyone realizes, while the Dark Entity tightens its reach across space and time—seeking the artifact for its own purpose. If it reaches the Gemini artifact first, the consequences could reshape not just the mission—but the fate of everything Max is trying to protect.

In a story of sacrifice, illusion, and emotional reckoning, Max must confront a truth he is not ready to face:

Max doesn’t wait to be chosen—he moves, and others follow. In moments where hesitation would cost everything, he steps forward with a clarity and instinct that feel almost beyond explanation. He leads not through authority, but through presence—an unspoken certainty that draws people in and holds them there. Yet beneath that confidence is a question he can’t ignore: why does everything seem to center around him? As the universe begins to fracture and forces older than time awaken, Max is pushed deeper into a role that feels both inevitable and impossible to understand. Because the closer he gets to the truth, the more it begins to feel like this path… was never a coincidence.

Tyra moves through danger like she was born for it—fast, fearless, and always one step ahead of the next threat. She thrives in the unpredictable, where instinct matters more than rules and hesitation can get you killed. But beneath the sharp edge and confident exterior is someone who calculates everything, reading people and situations with precision. She doesn’t follow blindly, and she doesn’t trust easily—but once she commits, she’s all in. In a universe where survival often comes down to split-second decisions, Tyra is the kind of ally you want at your side… and the kind of opponent you never want to face.

Chris doesn’t chase the spotlight—but he never steps away from it when it matters. Steady, grounded, and fiercely loyal, he’s the kind of presence that holds everything together when chaos starts to take hold. He watches closely, listens more than he speaks, and isn’t afraid to say what others won’t—especially when it comes to Max. While others see a leader, Chris sees the subtle shifts, the moments that don’t quite add up. And as the mission grows more dangerous, his loyalty is tested not by enemies… but by the unsettling possibility that something about his closest friend may be changing in ways no one can stop.

Veshka carries a quieter intensity—one that doesn’t need to announce itself to be felt. Where others act, she observes. Where others speak, she listens. But make no mistake—her silence is not hesitation. It’s control. Every movement, every decision is deliberate, as if she’s always seeing more than what’s in front of her. There are moments when her connection to the world around her feels deeper than it should be, as though she’s sensing something just beyond reach. And as the journey unfolds, it becomes clear that Veshka may understand more about what’s coming… than she’s willing to reveal.

Veshka is Tyra's twin.

CAPTAIN DEYNA RO

Captain Ro doesn’t believe in luck—only survival. Hardened by years of conflict and impossible choices, she commands with authority that isn’t questioned because it doesn’t need to be. Her ship, her rules, her line between living and dying—and she expects everyone aboard to understand that. Trust is not something she gives freely, and loyalty must be earned through action, not words. But beneath the steel exterior is a leader who has seen what happens when people fail each other… and refuses to let it happen again. In a universe where hesitation is fatal, Ro doesn’t hesitate—she decides.

Seren moves through the world with a quiet awareness that feels almost out of sync with everything around her. She is calm, observant, and deeply attuned—not just to people, but to something beneath the surface of reality itself. There are moments when she seems to understand things before they happen, as if she’s listening to a signal no one else can hear. She doesn’t seek control or attention, yet her presence has a way of steadying those around her—especially Max. But as the universe begins to fracture and hidden forces rise, it becomes clear that Seren’s connection to what’s unfolding may run deeper than anyone realizes… including herself.

BONECRUSHER

Bonecrusher doesn’t enter a fight—he ends it. Towering, relentless, and driven by a force that feels almost unstoppable, he brings a level of raw power that turns the tide the moment he steps in. But beneath the brutality is precision—every strike deliberate, every movement calculated. He doesn’t waste energy, words, or time. To enemies, he is devastation made real. To allies, he is the last line that never breaks. And when everything else fails—when plans collapse and chaos takes over—Bonecrusher is what stands between survival… and everything being lost.

Garrity is built for the moments others hesitate. Strong, relentless, and grounded in action, he doesn’t overthink what needs to be done—he does it. In the heat of conflict, he becomes a force that holds the line when everything else starts to break. But his strength isn’t just physical; it’s rooted in a deep sense of responsibility to those beside him. He carries the weight of every decision, every loss, and every life that depends on him making the right call. In a world where survival is never guaranteed, Garrity is the one who steps forward when it matters most… even when the cost is more than anyone should have to

bear.

Nil Yarro was lean and angular, carved down to survival by harsh suns and harder years, his weathered skin marked by faint scars he never explained. His narrow, restless eyes missed nothing, reading danger with an instinct that felt almost unnatural. Dark, uneven hair framed a face set in quiet focus, a jagged scar tracing his jaw beneath worn, practical gear that had been repaired more times than replaced. He spoke rarely, and when he did, it was direct—sometimes edged with a dry humor that slipped out before he could stop it. Nil wasn’t the strongest or the loudest, but when something went wrong, he was usually the first to see it. Nil Yarro had a way of noticing things a second too early—just long enough to understand what was about to happen… and never long enough to stop it.

Krail.png

Krail is not driven by chaos—he understands it. A shadow-bound strategist with a mind as sharp as the blade he carries, he walks the line between servant and architect, interpreting the will of the Dark Entity in ways few others can comprehend. Where others see destruction, Krail sees design.

His presence is unsettling—calm, deliberate, and always calculating. The energy he commands is not merely power, but something deeper… something ancient. He does not rush. He does not hesitate. Every move is made with purpose, as though the outcome has already been decided.

To those who face him, Krail is more than an enemy.
He is a glimpse into what happens when someone stops resisting the darkness… and begins to understand it.

Legbound the Lethal does not pursue—he endures. Bound to a decaying form that defies movement, he waits with a patience that outlasts fear itself. Those who draw near quickly realize the truth: escape is not about speed… it’s about whether he allows it.

Some say he was not always this way. That something changed him… anchored him… and turned him into a living threshold between life and something far worse. Whether he guards something, feeds something, or serves something greater is unknown.

What is known is this:

No one who lingers near Legbound for long ever truly walks away.

Slimy the Wordless is not a creature of strength or speed—it is something far more dangerous. It does not announce itself. Instead, it observes… silently, patiently, learning the behaviors, movements, and patterns of those around it.

It exists in the margins—unseen, unnoticed, and underestimated. But that is where its power lies. The longer it remains hidden, the more it understands. And once it understands… it adapts.

There are whispers that Slimy is not bound to a single form—that what it appears to be is only temporary. That it can mimic, replace, and move among others without detection.

Whether it serves the Dark Entity or operates with its own purpose is unclear. What is certain is this:

If Slimy is near…
you are already too late.

Vex is not driven by rage—he is driven by purpose. Once a warrior of flesh and conviction, he now moves with a cold precision that feels calculated, as if every action has already been decided before it begins.

He exists somewhere between life and something else, touched by a force that does not simply command him—but has reshaped him. His presence carries weight, a quiet pressure that unsettles those around him long before he ever strikes.

Where others hesitate, Vex advances. Where others question, he acts. There is no wasted motion, no second-guessing—only a steady descent toward whatever outcome he believes is inevitable.

Whether he serves the Dark Entity by choice or by transformation is unclear. What is certain is this:

When Vex is near…
something has already gone wrong.

errant-storm.jpeg

The Errant Storm is not the fastest ship in the galaxy—but it is one of the most resilient. Built for survival rather than spectacle, it carries the scars of countless battles, its reinforced hull and aging systems held together by experience, instinct, and sheer refusal to fail.

Under the command of Captain Deyna Ro, the ship moves with a purpose that goes beyond navigation. It adapts. It endures. Every system, every corridor, every scar tells a story of a crew that has faced impossible odds—and lived to keep moving.

It is not a ship that seeks danger, but it does not turn away from it. When the path ahead collapses, when the odds break beyond reason, the Errant Storm presses forward where others would retreat.

Whether it was meant for something greater or simply became it over time is unclear. What is certain is this:

When the Errant Storm arrives…
the fight is far from over.

The Aeon Voyager is not a ship—it is something older. Its structure appears grown rather than built, layered with intricate patterns that shift subtly, as if responding to those who move within it. Light pulses from its core like a living heartbeat, and its corridors bend in ways that defy space, stretching farther than they should or leading somewhere new entirely.

Those who step aboard quickly realize the Voyager does not follow the rules of the universe—it rewrites them. It observes. It learns. And in ways no one fully understands, it guides those it allows to remain. Time does not pass normally within its walls. It lingers, folds, and sometimes repeats.

There are whispers that the Aeon Voyager is tied to the origin of the Zodiac artifacts—a vessel not meant to explore the universe, but to shape it. Whether it is a guardian, a relic, or something far more dangerous remains unknown.

Kael is not an ordinary beast—though at first glance, he may appear to be nothing more than a powerful, battle-worn dog. Standing taller than most men when he rises, with black-and-white fur streaked by time and piercing blue eyes that seem to understand far more than they should, Kael carries an intelligence that borders on something deeper.

He moves with caution, not fear—every step measured, every breath taken as if he is listening to something beyond what others can hear. His instincts are sharp, his presence commanding, and when he chooses to act, it is with a force that leaves no doubt of his strength.

There are moments—rare, fleeting—when Kael feels like more than what he appears to be. As if something within him remembers a different form… a different life. Whether guardian, survivor, or something else entirely, his bond to Captain Deyna Ro is undeniable, forged in a past neither fully speaks of.

What Kael truly is remains a question.
What he protects… is not.

Inside the Last Light Tavern, the world outside feels distant—but never gone. Smoke hangs thick in the air, lanterns casting a dim, flickering glow across worn tables and scarred faces. The room hums with low voices, quiet deals, and the unspoken understanding that everyone here has survived something they rarely speak of.

It is a place where travelers, mercenaries, and things far less human gather under a fragile truce. Weapons are kept close, eyes closer. No one asks too many questions, and no one gives more answers than they have to. Trust is rare. Silence is currency.

The tavern does not promise safety—only a pause. A moment to breathe, to drink, to prepare for whatever waits beyond its doors. Because outside, the world is breaking… and everyone inside knows it.

What happens within these walls may shape what comes next.
What follows you out… may never leave.

The Island of the Sage exists beyond the reach of ordinary maps, hidden within waters that seem to shift with intention. Surrounded by jagged cliffs and ancient currents, it rises from the sea like a relic from a forgotten age—its glowing core pulsing with a quiet, unnatural energy.

This is not a place one stumbles upon. It reveals itself only when the time is right, drawing in those who seek knowledge, answers, or something they cannot yet understand. The journey to reach it is as much a trial as the island itself.

At its heart lies the Sage—an ancient presence bound by rules few comprehend, capable of offering truth, but never freely. Every answer comes at a cost. Every question carries weight. And once the truth is revealed, it cannot be undone.

What the island protects…
what it remembers…
and what it chooses to reveal—
may shape the fate of everything that follows.

Rell is easy to overlook—and that’s exactly how he’s survived. Small, quick, and sharper than most give him credit for, he learned early that the world does not reward the unprepared. Every movement he makes carries the instincts of someone who has had to think three steps ahead just to stay alive.

At first glance, he is just a stowaway. A thief. A boy trying to outrun a life that never gave him a chance. But beneath the fear and defiance lies something else—something steady, something watching, something learning.

He studies people the way others study maps, picking up on tone, movement, and intention with unsettling precision. It’s not strength that keeps him going. It’s awareness.

His bond with the crew—especially with those who choose not to cast him aside—begins to change him. Slowly. Reluctantly. As if he’s unsure whether he’s allowed to become something more.

What Rell will become is still unwritten.
But the path he walks is already beginning to shift.

Adkar-1 is where the journey begins—and where the first fracture is felt. Once a world of balance, it now stands on the edge of collapse, its surface marked by violent volcanic eruptions that burn across its horizon like warnings to the rest of the universe. Beneath its unstable crust lies something far more dangerous than fire—an awakening force tied to the fabric of space and time itself.

The planet does not simply exist—it reacts. The air feels heavier, the ground less certain, as if Adkar-1 is aware of the changes spreading beyond its skies. It is a world caught between what it was and what it is becoming, shifting with a tension that cannot be ignored.

It is here that Max’s path truly begins, where choice and fate start to blur and the first clues to the Zodiac artifacts emerge. What was once just a destination quickly becomes something more.

What is certain is this:

Adkar-1 is not just the beginning…
it is the warning.
